Awajdo is where people report civic and social problems — a broken road, a missing water supply, an official demanding a bribe — and tie them to the place they affect. Others nearby can back you up, add what they know, and vote on whether it has actually been resolved.

How it works

Four steps, and the fourth is the one most complaint boxes skip.

  1. 1

    Post an issue

Describe the problem and choose the place it affects — your area, city, district, state or country.

  2. 2

    People nearby see it

It reaches the feed for that place. Others can like, comment and share to build the pressure that a single complaint never has.

  3. 3

    Tag who is responsible

Name the office, contractor or official the problem belongs to. If they are on Awajdo, they are notified and can answer in public.

  4. 4

    Track it to resolution

You can mark it fixed — or the community can vote that it has been, so "resolved" is not something one person gets to declare alone.

Post anonymously if you need to

Reporting a powerful person in your area carries real risk. Any post can be published without your name or photo attached.

We are direct about the limits. Awajdo still records who posted, because Indian law requires us to be able to answer a defamation complaint or a lawful order (IT Rules, 2021). That record is encrypted, and reading it needs a specific staff permission, a written reason, a second identity check, and it is written permanently to a tamper-evident log. It is not something anyone here can do quietly.

Not a place for politics

Party-political content and personal abuse are not allowed. Criticise decisions, services and conduct — not people's identities.

Reports are reviewed by moderators, and an account that reports honest posts as abuse loses the ability to report at all.
