Required under Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Contact
Not yet appointed. Awajdo has not appointed a grievance officer. Until one is named here, complaints should be sent through the platform's report function, and will be handled by the moderation team within the timelines below.
Note for the operator: set grievanceOfficerName and
grievanceOfficerEmail in the admin settings before this platform reaches
the user threshold at which the appointment becomes mandatory.
Timelines
- Complaints are acknowledged within 1 day of receipt.
- Complaints are resolved within 15 days of receipt.
- Content flagged as unlawful under Rule 3(2)(b) is actioned within 24 hours.
What to include
- A link to the specific post, comment or profile.
- What is wrong with it, and under which law or guideline.
- Your name and contact details.
- For a defamation or impersonation claim: what is false, and your relationship to the person or organisation concerned.
Complaints about anonymous posts are handled the same way. Where the law requires it, we can identify the author — that process is permission-gated, requires a written reason, and is recorded in a log that cannot be altered afterwards.
